Lovely Summer Finds for Crazy-Cheap via Buffalo Exchange.

As summer is approaching (Summer Solstice is June 21st), I'm beginning to realize that I'd rather spend money on summer-concerts than summer-outfits. This epiphany, gathered with the fact that my closet's overflowing already, has led to a new infatuation with Buffalo Exchange.

A second-hand clothing chain, Buffalo Exchange has been operating as a clothing-consignment store for the past 35 years. Headquartered in Tucson, Arizona, and reaching from coast-to-coast, Buffalo Exchange now has 34 stores.

The Austin Buffalo Exchange is located at 2904 Guadalupe Street. Hours Monday-Saturday are 10 AM to 9 PM, with Sunday hours 12 PM to 7 PM.

The evening hours tend to be a bit busy, but I still love to go in and look at the clothes whenever I am down there.

Specifically jeans: last week I found a pair of 7AMs that fit perfectly, even with the price. They were only $30.

  1. I had such an amazing time in SF. All I did was thrift, record shop and watch pop bands. so amazing! it was so cold there though! haha unexpected.

my roommate works at this buffalo exchange. im not a big fan of it, but since she works there she comes home with a bunch of great finds.

  2. I love BE for their skirts right now. I snagged 3 cuuuute jean skirts to base my summer weekend wardrobe on and they were only about $8-13 each! And we're talking Hollister and A&F here! Totally worth it.
